Year in Review 2023

A rather uneventful year; however, it was still a relatively good year. Highlights I did not blog include:

I did not dive into photography nor did I travel as much as I would have liked
I received some unwelcome news in the summer (IYKYK)
I turned down an opportunity with a new employer
I tried indoor bouldering and climbing at Sender One
I was in a fender bender (not at fault)
I tore my car apart for minuscule and cosmetic/junkyard upgrades and it all started when I enabled global windows
I changed the bootsplash from generic Ford to ST
I added a second boot light because Ford decided to pinch pennies after 2017
We upgraded the front mount intercooler
I added puddle lights with an aftermarket ST logo from autobeam instead of a basic light
I modified my Sherpa 2.0 from a double to a single rack
I almost bought a Ford Focus RS and it started with a search for a beater car
We did not find turtles in SGRT
I nudged my cousin into buying a Ninja ZX-6R 40th Anniversary Edition motorcycle
A friend's health scare had me reevaluate my current dietary choices
I started playing Baldur's Gate 3 with a party
I replaced my dying Logitech G15 (2005) with a new keyboard using The Lord of the Rings Black Speech keycaps
I built a model from Christmas 2023 and some LEGO sets (I still have quite the backlog, perhaps it will shrink in 2024)
I bought some Batman (Beyond) comics: The Court of Owls, Batman Beyond: Neo-Year, Batman Beyond: Hush Beyond
Quite a Christmas haul this year
