Today's post is brought to you by Valve! I had money burning a hole in my pocket. I was finally convinced to purchase a Steam Deck OLED, thanks to a few of my early adopter friends that had nothing but good things to say about it. I do not regret the purchase and to say it has been occupying most of my free time lately would be an accurate statement. I added Decky Loader for some quality of life additions. Two friends purchased The Expanse: A Telltale Series for me because I love science fiction and The Expanse. After completing The Expanse, I decided to play through Batman Arkham, again, since I never completed the series years ago. I played Arkham Asylum on PS3 with a copy a friend left at my house. Physical copies, remember that? I also played Arkham City on Xbox 360; however, I never started Arkham Origins even though I preordered the collector's edition. I decided to start from the beginning since I have the games in my library (thanks to Steam Sales!). I made an effort to collect all the trophies in Asylum and City before continuing into Arkham Origins (prequel story) now.
If you like(d) having a Game Boy then I can say you will also enjoy having a Steam Deck. Worth it!
Full immersion as Batman has me looking at vents with a newfound interest. I may have considered placing some things behind?
Anyways, I have done things other than be Batman after my day job. I spent some time dog sitting, hanging out with friends/family, playing Catan, and cycling on occasion even in inclement weather. I went on a spontaneous trip to Mammoth for a night on a couple hours notice so a friend would not have to drive alone. Does Tom's Place have a Tom's Diner?
I went to The Great Train Show with family and friends. I wanted to buy things but I had to refrain because trains are expensive.
I picked up the biggest bolt I have seen in my life riding through Long Beach with a couple friends. Perhaps a slight exaggeration for dramatic effect. We walked to My Bicycle, a nearby bicycle shop and waited for it to open for a quick fix. Thank you, Cameron!
Just know the bolt will get longer each time I recount the story.
I attempted Fullerton Loop, but since my chain broke on our first climb I had to walk a couple miles back to the car, good times. On a second attempt of Fullerton Loop a friend's chain broke not once, but twice before we left the parking lot. So maybe we do not go down that way anymore? After having the chain repaired at a local bicycle shop we started the route a couple hours after the planned time. A couple of us were shot at by someone with something. They were sitting in the backseat of a moving vehicle making a right hand turn onto Gilbert and drove off too quickly otherwise. Fortunately for us it was nothing harmful. We eventually finished the loop and had lunch at Matiki Island BBQ.
This just happened as I type up this post. I want to spend more money on things that will sit in my backlog, let me in! Kawasaki Ninja H2R. It is fast.
Hopefully this post is not impacted by leap year. Time to read the latest issue for The Expanse: Dragon Tooth and watch Dune: Part 2 tomorrow! I need to plan some trips and board game nights, soon.
