No Taxation

Today was unfortunately my last day in Virginia (for this trip). There is just never enough time due to extenuating circumstances such as life. I know I am still fortunate and grateful to have the opportunity for this trip. I think my body was aware today would be departure day because I woke up before my alarms. I had to pack everything up which was not difficult and everything packed up as expected. I dozed off for a bit after packing up my things and I eventually made my way off the bed. We had some time to finish off the movie we started the night before, Billy Madison. Once the movie was over it was back to see how much of F is for Family I could finish before leaving. I just have few more episodes to go, but I needed to stop so I could load the bike up with my "tower of stuff" for the next destination.

We went to Bojangles for lunch as it was recommended by a friend back in California to check out. I would recommend the Cajun Filet Biscuit but I would not recommend the pulled pork sandwich. This is the second time this week my friend ordered something that was not available. The first instance occurred at En Su Boca (sweet tea, if I remember correctly) and then again today at Bojangles (macaroni 'n cheese). Although I know it is disappointing ordering unavailable items on the menu, it was nice to not have it happen to me for a change. Also this particular location needs to put signage up that the lobby is closed and it is drive thru only. We told many people so they could avoid walking up to a locked door in confusion.

I look forward to hanging out with team again soon™ for the grind.

Now you might be wondering: why the title? I left Virginia and I went to District of Columbia (DC): No taxation without representation. A topic (some) people have particular opinions about and statehood is being discussed again. I am surprised there has not been another tea party incident. Traffic was not too bad on the I-95 and I made sure to get gasoline while still in Virginia. When I made it into DC I noticed a lot of people riding bicycles in various parts of the city. I have been to DC before and I visited many of the tourist locations (many years ago, thank you to the person that made it happen). So this visit will not have much for photos aside from the shot of the Lincoln Memorial.

I need to start planning my route for when I go west.
