I did not do much this past summer because tedious things and a lack of accountability. I did get some home automation thanks to Home Assistant and I may elaborate in a future post. In other news, achievement unlocked - I have been in management for a month now, temporarily. How did I end up here? I applied and my bluff was called. It has been an interesting transition from having work delegated and now I am delegating to others, royal we. There have been challenges during this first month and I expect it to get worse better. Also, so many meetings, so many. Hopefully I learn from the experience before I am relegated back to my position represented by collective bargaining.
