Brunch Time

Another lazy day to recover. A few of us went to brunch at Cadillac Cafe and then walked to Helen Bernhard Bakery. I would recommend because friendly staff and good food. So about those overboots you keep reading about? Well I decided to go to Cycle Gear PDX today after my ordeal yesterday. I planned to buy the aforementioned overboots and new gloves with the hope of no more rain for the remainder of my trip. That is just science. Thankfully an employee let me know I should go a size up on the overboots (if worn over riding boots) before completing my purchase.

I will add a few grams of weight if it could mean no more rain ever rain going home. I purchased BILT overboots and BILT "waterproof" gloves. I also bought Alpinestars SP-8 V3 gloves. My current riding gloves being V2 and I can break in the new set on the ride home. I did the inverse a few years ago with my current set of gloves breaking it in on the ride up.

I spent the rest of my afternoon drafting content for the past (4) four days including today and eating Chamorro Chip Cookies. However, I will still need to go back to proofread, edit, and curate photos before publishing. Content creation can take time and I do not know how people can consistently produce it. We went for a walk and watched a movie all before packing up for my departure home tomorrow. Just (2) two more days to go.
